§ 3-8. Closing hours for restaurants and hotels that sell alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any restaurant or hotel licensed premises as defined by A.C.A. § 3-9-202 to sell, offer for sale, give away, or allow the consumption or possession of any alcoholic beverage by the drink pursuant to A.C.A. §§ 3-9-207 and 3-9-210 between 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday, or between 1:00 a.m. Sunday and 7:00 a.m. Monday.

    (b)

    Any person who shall violate the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction may be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and, in the discretion of the court, imprisoned for not more than six (6) months. Each violation shall constitute a separate offense.
