§ 25-188. Wastewater contribution permit.

  • (a)

    Application for wastewater contribution permit users required to obtain a wastewater contribution permit shall complete and file with the control authority an application in the form prescribed by the control authority. Proposed new users shall apply for such permit at least ninety (90) days prior to connecting to or contributing to the POTW. Upon receipt of the application, the control authority will evaluate the data furnished and, if the data is acceptable, may issue a wastewater contribution permit. Pretreatment program charges and fees, as required pursuant to the provisions of division 2, section 25-216, shall be eighty-two dollars ($82.00) per month and sampling and analysis fees per monitoring sample for each industrial user shall be as follows:

    Sampling and analysis fees:
    Metals digestion $10.00 each sample
    Metals analysis 20.00 each analyte
    BOD 5 30.00 each sample
    COD 20.00 each sample
    TSS 15.00 each sample
    Oil and grease 35.00
    Total Cyanide 40.00
    Flash point 40.00
    pH 9.00
    Grab collection 10.00
    Composite collection 100.00
    Resampling required by violation as identified above.

     

    (b)

    In the event that the control authority determines that an outside laboratory should be utilized for the analysis of any parameter identified in paragraph (a) above, the actual cost of analysis by the outside laboratory shall be borne by the industrial user.
