§ 24-13. Lights on catering, other retail sales vehicles.

  • (a)

    All vendors who sell retail concessions from motor vehicles on city streets will have on their vehicles a revolving amber light that is at least five (5) inches in diameter installed at the highest point of the vehicle, and the revolving light shall be in motion anytime the vehicle is stopped for operation of business. Motorists are required to proceed with caution while signal light is active.

    (b)

    All vendors who conduct retail sales to children from a motor vehicle on city streets are hereby required to have displayed on the back of such vehicle a legible "watch for children" sign having letters of at least three (3) inches in height. Such sign shall be prominently displayed so as to be visible to traffic approaching the rear of the vehicle.
