§ 6-236. Definitions.

For the purpose of this article, the terms used shall have the following specific meaning:

Board, without further specification, shall mean the plumbing advisory board of the city.

Sewer available shall mean sewer of adequate spare capacity within three hundred (300) feet of existing septic tank or the junction of the building drain and building sewer across owner's property or public easement and of height which allows for correct fall.

Sewer lateral shall mean that part of the public or private sewer system between the building sewer and the sewer main.

Unless otherwise expressly provided herein, any term used herein which is defined in A.C.A. tit. 17, ch. 31 [§ 17-31-101 et seq.] and the 2006 Arkansas State Plumbing Code, shall have the same meaning and effect in this article.
