§ 2-277. Appointment.

The authority shall consist of and be governed by a board of five (5) members, one of whom may be the mayor. If the mayor is a member, the mayor shall be chairman. If the mayor is not a member of the port authority, the chairman shall be elected by the members of the authority. The members of the port authority shall be appointed by the mayor and shall be qualified electors residing in the city.
