§ 2-217. Authority to enter into sale contracts.

  • There is hereby delegated to the city administrator, or his designated agent, the authority to enter into sale contracts of described city-owned properties falling within one (1) or more of the captioned categories; provided that no such sale may exceed or otherwise be violative of the following criteria:

    (1)

    The consideration to be paid for the remnant property is not greater than six thousand dollars ($6,000.00);

    (2)

    The remnant property shall not be greater than ten thousand (10,000) square feet in size;

    (3)

    Other than typical real estate closing costs, the sale requires no financial obligation on behalf of the city; and,

    (4)

    The sale requires no additional administrative personnel for supervision.
