§ 27-107. Consistency with comprehensive plan.

    The UDO is intended to be used as a tool for implementing the goals, objectives and policies of the Fort Smith Comprehensive Plan. Any amendments to the UDO or actions taken pursuant to the UDO shall be consistent with the comprehensive plan.

    B.

    Text amendments to the UDO are consistent with the comprehensive plan if such amendments comply with the goals and policies stated in the plan, as it may be amended from time to time. An amendment to the zoning map is consistent with the comprehensive plan provided the map amendment is consistent with the master land use plan, as it may be amended from time to time.
