§ 26-37. Smoke-free policy for vehicles operating as a taxicab service.

All taxicabs are designated nonsmoking as to both drivers and passengers. Anyone who is judicially determined to be in violation of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to the penalties set forth in section 1-9 of the Municipal Code. Furthermore, any taxicab driver who fails to comply with this no smoking prohibition shall also be subject to the penalties set forth in section 26-27 of the Municipal Code.
