The sanitation department shall collect, haul, and dispose of any garbage, recyclables,
trash, solid waste and yard waste according to the schedule determined by the budget
of the sanitation department and as directed by the city administrator.
(b)
The sanitation department shall operate a service known as dial-a-truck which picks
up bulky items. Residential customers are entitled to one (1) free pickup every three
(3) months. Commercial customers are entitled to this service on a free and/or pay
for service basis as set forth in policies established by the city administrator and
administered by the sanitation department.
