§ 19-30. Terms.

Three (3) of the initial nine (9) members of the planning commission shall be appointed for one-year terms commencing on March 6, 1973, and terminating upon expiration of one (1) calendar year from such date of appointment. Three (3) of the initial members shall be appointed to two-year terms terminating upon expiration of two (2) calendar years from such date of appointment. Three (3) of the initial members shall be appointed for three-year terms terminating upon expiration of three (3) calendar years from the date of appointment. After the expiration of the initial terms, all terms shall be for a period of three (3) calendar years from the date of appointment. Any member of the planning commission may be appointed to successive terms of membership.
